Amanda B.

Amanda Betancur_BB

SPECIALTIES
Amanda is a licensed massage therapist who graduated from the Salter School in January 2012. She focuses on areas that are concerning to the client and uses a mixture of deep tissue and relaxation/swedish massage to suit the client’s needs and ensure that they leave feeling like progress was made on the muscles that needed work. She also incorporates stretching into her massage, especially with clients who are athletes.

THERAPIST PHILOSOPHY
I feel that relaxation can go a long way. My technique is a mixture between deep tissue and relaxation. When a client comes to me complaining of a painful area or tense spot I assess the body and try to figure out where the ailment stems from. Each muscle is connected and relates to the next so I believe a full body massage is almost always necessary. I am a very accommodating and versatile Therapist. Each client leaves feeling like we made some progress in the massage session.

PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Taught myself how to meditate properly. Gave birth to an amazing son in 2013. Set goals to travel in 2016 and have met each one.
