Jane M. Taylor, MS, CSCS, Level I Club Coach

Presently, Jane is a Level III Instructor Trainer for Healthworks/BackBay, where she has been actively involved in staff training, as well as having a full-time training schedule.  Just recently, she stepped away from the Fitness Director position to become more involved with staff development.   Prior to joining Healthworks, Jane was the Sports Performance Director for Velocity Sports Performance in Sudbury, MA from May 2003-September 2004 helping young athletes develop speed, strength and agility. Before coming to Velocity, she was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Dartmouth College from September 1995-May 2003, where she was directly responsible for year-round design, implementation and instruction of sport-specific training programs with an emphasis on Olympic-style weightlifting for 6 varsity sports. Jane has presented at various clinics on a variety of topics, including "ACL Knee Injury Prevention", "Training Your Athlete", and "Plyometric Training for Enhancing Performance."
