THERAPIST PHILOSOPHY

Christine J.

Christine 3 3.16

SPECIALTIES
Christine grew up in a Chiropractic family and is very knowledgeable about the structure and function of the human body.  She applies this knowledge to every massage, making each massage specific to the client’s needs.  Having played sports most of her life, Christine is aware of the toll injury can take on a person’s body, as well as what it takes to come back from an injury.  Whether for an injury or relaxation, massage is an important part of your body’s well-being.

THERAPIST PHILOSOPHY
Intention is everything in a massage; the therapist and client should have a cohesive goal for every session – it’s really a team effort. Relaxation is an important part of every massage; only when the body is truly relaxed can it heal itself.  Christine likes to make sure every client leaves the session feeling taller, more relaxed, and as though they met their goal for the day.

PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Christine feels most accomplished when she and her clients are able to work together and meet their goals.  Knowing that you are actually a part of someone’s healing is an incredible accomplishment.

Kristina

Kristina Pic

SPECIALTIES
Kristina aims to work with her clients to create a customized experience for each session.  Whether relaxation or more targeted work is needed, Kristina will use her knowledge of the body and musculature to combine the various modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone and various Neuromuscular techniques to ensure the goal of each session is achieved.

THERAPIST PHILOSOPHY
Kristina believes that no two bodies are the same and that no two days are the same for any particular body.  Given the many variables, listening and strong communication are necessary to have a great massage experience each time.  Kristina also believes that, by taking care of ourselves, we are better able to take care of others.  Ultimately, we deserve to feel good, both inside and out.

PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
After spending a number of years working in corporate America, Kristina decided to make a change aimed at more tangibly helping people and enrolled in massage school. While working full-time, she completed her coursework and began the switch to a more fulfilling career.  In addition to massage she is an actor, improviser, writer, and teacher.  Kristina also completed her first marathon in 2014 and looks forward to another some day soon.
