How do I register for the weekend?
Please call Vyda at 877-777-2010 or email her at
vyda@b1community.com for registration information. Vyda is available to answer
all questions you have regarding the retreat.
What is the price of the weekend?
The Great Escape is offered as a 2-night (Fri-Sun) or
3-night (Fri-Mon) retreat. Price includes: hotel accommodation, daily meditation
and power vinyasa yoga classes, health and wellness seminars, meals, and full
access to the Standard's hydrotherapy facilities.
- 2-day retreat price $521 shared room, $720 single room
- 3-day retreat price $770 shared room, $1069 single room

We are offering the 2 day or 3 day option in order to
allow you the best choice for you, as we know everyone has varying schedules.
You will have a great experience whichever option you choose.
What type of yoga will be practiced?
Power vinyasa yoga. Vyda teaches the classes tailored for
the students and teaches modifications. Beginner students to more advanced will
find the classes fun, interesting, and refreshing.
Is it better to come with someone or go alone?
This retreat is designed to be a great trip if you are
coming alone or with a friend or loved one. Retreats are wonderful times for
introspection. You will also have the chance to interact with the other women on
the retreat at meals etc. If you are coming by yourself and want to share a
room, Vyda will work with you to try to match you up with another participant
who is interested in the same.
A friend of mine wants to come who is not a member of Healthworks. Is that
possible?
Yes, non HW members are very welcome to join us!
Can I bring my husband/boyfriend?
Not this time. The retreat is for women only.
What will the schedule be like?
The program will officially start after dinner on Friday
evening at 7pm and for the 2-night program end Sunday by noon, and for the
3-night program end Monday by noon. During our time together, we will eat meals
together, start the day off with walk/mediation, practice yoga, and engage in
learning seminars for your health and wellness. There will also be time for
soaking up the rays and enjoying the extensive hydrotherapy spa that the
Standard offers.
By when should I register?
Registration is strongly encouraged prior to October 5th.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation after Oct 5th will require 50% payment.
How do I get to the Standard?
The best airport to fly into is the Miami International
Airport. Taking a taxi to the hotel is the easiest option as you will not need a
car once you are at the hotel. Once you register and have flight information we
can coordinate taxi shares if you are interested. Internet travel sites like
www.travelocity.com and www.orbitz.com offer the best prices. If you would like
to works with a travel agent to coordinate your trip, please call Vicki Briggs

When is the best time to book spa appointments?
The Standard has a large area of hydrotherapy spa
experience that is available to you and included in our package. If you want to
add a personal spa service (such as massage, facial etc.) to your retreat, the
best times to try to book them would be Friday before the start of the program
and during our lunch/break on Saturday which will be about 1pm-3pm or Sunday
11:30-3:00. You can also book them at other times, but please note you may miss
part of the planned retreat activities. You will be charged for any cancelled or
missed appointments. All participants will receive a 10% discount on treatments
and services.
Who is leading the retreat?
Vyda Bielkus is a Yoga Alliance 500-hour certified yoga
teacher and health coach. She is a founder of B1 Community, a company offering
Health Coach Trainings, Living Awake Yoga Health Retreats, and Self-Care
Solutions programs for individuals and groups. Prior to starting B1 she helped
develop the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute (BPYI) into an internationally
recognized yoga brand. As a yoga teacher, she inspires students to engage yoga
and meditation as the ultimate self-care routine on their journey to optimal
