Complimentary Orientations
All memberships include the following orientations with our fitness staff to ensure that you learn proper use of the equipment and get the most out of your workouts!
Complimentary Personal Training Sessions
Some members will get two complimentary sessions with a certified personal trainer. In these sessions the trainer will develop a customized workout program that addresses your specific goals or concerns.
Jump Start
This orientation is a general introduction to the gym. We'll give you exercise guidelines and develop a basic program that includes cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility components.
Strength Training
This orientation covers use of the strength training circuits in each gym. We'll cover strength training guidelines and benefits, proper use of the machines, and show you how to adjust each machine. We'll also show you how to log your strength workouts so you can see progress over time.
Fitness Assessment
We test your cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility levels using standardized fitness tests, so that you can gauge your fitness level over time. We also conduct body composition tests and assess for cardiovascular risk factors.
