Pilates Reformer sessions vary on your skill set. Please see descriptions below of our leveled classes:
Essential Reformer: You’ve built the foundation, now keep it solid! Essential Reformer is an appropriate level for students who have completed at least 3 intro to Pilates classes or have taken private sessions. Students should be knowledgeable in basic principles, essential repertoire and equipment. Continue to build you skills, all while enjoying yourself!
Essential Plus Reformer: Ready to step your Pilates practice up a notch? Essential Plus Reformer is an appropriate level for students who are ready to challenge their muscular strength, endurance and work on coordination. Participants must be knowledgeable in applying all basic Pilates principles and have a strong grasp of the essential repertoire.
Intermediate Reformer: Challenge yourself! The Intermediate Reformer level is appropriate for students who have a clear understanding of basic Pilates principles in addition to the strength, endurance and coordination necessary to be successful in this more challenging format. Please note: our instructors reserve the right to suggest you continue with the Essential level if appropriate.
Intermediate Plus Reformer: Plus it up! Intermediate Plus Reformer is an appropriate level for students who have extensive Intermediate Level Reformer experience and are ready for the next step in their Pilates practice. In this class you will begin to integrate Advanced Level Reformer exercises to further challenge your skills. Please note: Instructors reserve the right to suggest you continue with the Intermediate level if appropriate.
Advanced Reformer: Master your skill! The Advanced Reformer Level is for the seasoned Pilates participant, who has mastered both the Essential and Intermediate Level reformer workouts. Join us in this culmination of all your Pilates training, as we challenge strength, endurance and the neuromuscular system with every exercise. Please note: For safety purposes, participants must be given instructor approval before attending the advanced classes.
Cardio-Tramp Interval Training: Cardio + Pilates = Results! Join us as we combine Intermediate Level Reformer and cardio, in an interval style class designed to stimulate both cardiovascular and muscular effectiveness. This non-stop class will include intervals of plyometrics using our new Cardio-Tramp™, with dynamic Pilates exercises on the Reformer. The Cardio-Tramp™ provides a soft landing surface, allowing a challenging workout without excess stress on your joints. Watch as you burn more calories and transform your Reformer workouts in this fun, energizing class!
Healthworks offers reformer training in private, partner, trio, 6-week progressive group training and group drop in sessions of up to five people. These sessions are pre-scheduled and members should pre-register for each class. Click review member and guest rates.
